The three-move playbook

1. Pick a knife-sharp niche — not “AI news” but “AI for solo consultants.” Every send should feel like it was written for one named avatar.
2. Ship the lead magnet before the newsletter — a 10-page PDF that solves the reader’s #1 question in one weekend. This alone doubles opt-in rate from ~1.8% to 3.6%.
3. Trade $200 for 120 subs on Boosts — beehiiv Boosts averaged $1.66 CPA in this run vs the platform-wide $1.63–$2.25 range.

What we would not do again

• Waste the first two weeks on logo iterations. Ship a text logo.
